This extensive 7-day tour is a must for any Bible scholar! We cover the Holy Land in great detail and you will never forget the incredible experience as long as you live. Along with all the locations of our 5-day trip, we visit: Capernaum, Gethsemene, Emmaus & Ein Karem. We spend time viewing more of the significant historical sites of Jesus & the early church. If you enjoy not feeling rushed while site-seeing, this is the tour for you.

Day 1: Caesarea
Our first stop is North to Caesarea where we may visit the ancient Caesarean Ruins. We will also explore some of the stops of the Apostle Paul on his journey to spread the Gospel to the Gentiles.

Day 2: Nazareth to Capernaum
We start the day in Nazareth (the hometown of Jesus), we venture through the market on our way to the Church of Annunciation and the Synagogue Church (from the Gospel of Luke). We may also visit the Nazareth Village, Mary's Well, or drive to Mount Precipice. We venture to Cana where Jesus turned water into wine (the first miracle mentioned in John 2, then head to Capernaum to visit a 1500-year-old excavated synagogue and the home of the Apostle Peter.

Day 3: Sea of Galilee
Our third day takes us around several significant Christian sites around the Sea of Galilea, including a boat tour, Magdala (hometown of Mary Magdelene), Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes, Church of the Primacy of Peter, and the Mount of Beatitudes. After lunch at St Peter's Fish shop, we go onwards to Tel-Aviv, with stops at Mt Tabor or Megiddo (Armageddon).

Day 4: Emmaus and Gethsemane
Day 4 we visit Jaffa - possibly the house of Simon the Tanner (where Peter had his vision of opening the door of salvation to the Gentiles), or we may instead visit St Peter's Catholic Church, and/or the Samaritan community in Holon. On the way to Jerusalem, we visit Emmaus-Nicopolis (where Jesus visited after His resurrection. We then head into Jerusalem to visit the Mount of Olives (where Jesus preached from on many occasions), then to Chapel of the Ascension, Church of the Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit, the Garden of Gethsemane, Grotto of Gethsemane, Mary’s Tomb, and the martyr Stephanus Church.

Day 5: Jerusalem
In the old city of Jerusalem, we begin at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where the spot Jesus was crucified and the nearby tomb where He was placed by Joseph of Arimathea & Nicodemus are located inside this church. We walk back along the Catholic Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa), down to the Pool of Bethesda We then visit the Western (Wailing) Wall, and ascend to the top of Mount Zion. We will also visit the site of the Last Supper (the Cenacle), where Peter denied Jesus, the Rest Place of Mary, the site of Pentecost (Dormition Abbey), the Armenian Caiaphas Church, First Century Church on Mount Zion and King David’s Tomb.

Day 6: Baptism Site
This day ventures us into the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea, stopping into the Good Samaritan Inn. You can get Baptized in the Jordan River at qasr el-Yahud where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, and the Deir Hajla (Gerasimus Monastery). We venture down into the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and after lunch the community of Qumran. Make sure to bring your swim gear this day as we will hopefully go for a swim in the Dead Sea (400m below sea level making it the lowest point on Earth).

Day 7: Return
On the last day we visit Bethlehem (where the Saviour was born), the Church of the Nativity, and the Shepherds' Field. Upon returning to Jerusalem we may visit the Israel Museum displaying: the Dead Sea Scrolls (Shrine of the Book), the model of the Second Temple and discoveries related to Pontius Pilate, Caiaphas, and the Crucifixion.
